Our
shop is located in Kamas, the gateway to the Uinta Mountains in Northern
Utah. We are located about 15 miles east of the Wasatch back and
Park City/Heber and 45 minutes east of the Wasatch Front and Salt Lake
City.
Trails
in the Uintas tends to be "pool drop" style. This means that most
trails tend to go from sections of buffed out smooth singletrack "flatwater"
to sections of technical, rocky "rapids."
There
are a few exceptions, but most of the riding is not for the faint of heart.
If big climbs and techy riding are what you love than the Uinta's are your
kind of place.
The
great thing about riding in the Uinta's is the wilderness experience.
Many of our trails follow mountain creeks and pass lakes. Expect
to see wildlife riding out here and don't expect to be able to call anyone
from your cellphone should you get in trouble!
